Ahmed El Sayed

Ahmed co-founded FortiDev and leads it as CEO, setting the company's direction and overseeing its IT and digital transformation services for small and medium-sized organizations, NGOs and donor-funded programs.

Before FortiDev, he led technology and digital transformation for a regional solar water company and for several USAID-funded programs, including Pathfinder International's Women's Economic and Social Empowerment Program, DAI's Economic Governance Activity and MIT's Center of Excellence for Energy. His work spans IT strategy and governance, ERP implementation, Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions, cybersecurity, and business continuity.

He has designed and deployed custom business applications that automated daily operations, built IT infrastructure for new programs from the ground up, and helped organizations adopt digital tools through training and change management.
